Client spotlight: The Swedish Armed Forces wins at the Swedish Web Service Awards!

Our client, Försvarsmakten (The Swedish Armed Forces) have been awarded The Best Site for Social Information, at The Swedish Web Service Awards.

Nordic Morning and The Swedish Armed Forces have been working together since 2012.

For over 8 years, Nordic Morning has continually has built, improved and managed their three different websites and other sites, apps and digital services - to create a digital platform for all the armed forces digital communication needs, of course with the user in mind.

Here at Nordic Morning we do a lot of different work for Försvarsmakten. The aim is to ensure that all of their sites, apps, and digital services are up to date. That includes maintenance and developing new solutions, but we also do design, analysis, and strategy.

Appointed 'The Best Site for Social Information'

Now, Försvarsmakten has won a prize at the Swedish Web Service Awards for the best site for social information, with the motivation:

“This content-rich website is perceived as relevant, clear and inclusive. This is a website that visitors have a lot of trust in and are happy to visit.”

The competition is based on Sweden's largest website survey with responses from over 100,000 respondents.

“In 2020, a year marked by the ongoing pandemic, the digital platforms have gained a clearly increased importance. It is therefore gratifying to be able to show that there are websites and intranets that live up to users' expectations. This year's winner showed that goal-oriented work pays off. They have managed to meet their visitors' changing demands and needs in an exemplary way”

Stefan Parker, Project Manager at Nordic Morning also commented:
